Hello There
I am so happy that you have found my little corner of the internet. I founded Mind+Body+Spirit Counseling as a holistic counseling agency because I believe in a whole person approach, healing from every angle of what makes you the unique person you are. Eventually, we will add other professionals, such as coaches, professional distance yoga instructors, psychiatrists, psychologists, and dietician and nutritionists. For now, its just little old me.
I hope I get the opportunity to meet you and help you transform your life into what you want it to be!

I am many things to many people. I am a father, a brother, a son; I am a nerd (I can consume superhero and fantasy fiction like nobody's business), a lover of nature, reading, poetry, philosophy, and debates.
Born and raised in the great state of Tennessee, I spent my younger years traveling all over the south east, living in Florida and both of the Carolinas. But Tennessee will always be my home. It is here that I live with my family, and it is here where I hang my hat.
In my spare time, I am the president of the Appalachian Society of the Arts, a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the visibility and accessability of the arts in underserved community. It has been my utmost pleasure to serve in this role and seeing people thrive through their creativity.
I have spent quite a few years in mental health; more than 15 years have come and went since I first started working with the differently abled in direct care. My journey has taken me through working with teens in group and residential care, case management, inpatient, prison, and addiction. The one thing that remains consistent is that I care about every single client that I have had the good fortune to work with. Every single individual has a story to tell, and for a time, I got to a part of that story, to help them heal and move forward. Sharing in their pain and watching them grow beyond it has been one of the most amazing parts of my life!
I have a lot of dreams yet to realize-- somewhere there is an RV waiting for me that will give me the opportunity to travel the U.S. and see all it has to offer. I want to build a little homestead, with a few chickens, cows, and a big garden. I want to add a rugrat to the family.
I have quite a few struggles to overcome-- got some pounds to shed and some money to save.
But I get to make it happen while doing what I love... working with wonderful people who have their own dreams and struggles. And that makes it all worth it.
